Trends in the Ontario Vending Industry
Toronto Office Coffee Services and Toronto Vending Machines
Vending Service trends:
More and more Ontario vending machines are likely to be installed in industrial
plants, hospitals, stores, and other business establishments to fulfill demands
for vending machine items. The range of items dispensed by vending machines in
Ontario is expected to increase as vending machines continue to become more
automated and more are built with microwave ovens, mini-refrigerators, and
freezers. Advances in technology will require less frequent repairs to
machines. Some new machines will contain computers that record sales and
inventory data, reducing time-consuming paperwork. Some new machines will even
be able to signal the vending machine company when they need to be restocked or
repaired, allowing service people and repairers to be dispatched only when
needed, instead of their having to check each machine on a regular schedule.
Vending Machine trends in Ontario:
Vending machines evolve continuously, becoming more computerized and efficient.
Some are now connected by phone lines to computers in sales offices, allowing
the company to quickly download such information as how much inventory remains
in each machine. This streamlines shipping, restocking, and product selection.
Newer models also save energy. The energy-saving "Eco-vender" has become the
leading dispenser of non-alcoholic beverages. Because it can maintain cold
temperatures longer, even during the summer, it turns off its refrigeration
unit during peak hours, reducing electricity consumption by 10 to 15% over
conventional models.
